Tuition & Financial Aid

Tuition

Tuition for the 2017-2018 school year is $11,500. There are an additional $200 registration fee and $300 activity fee. We understand the sacrifice our families make to afford Brother Rice and we work diligently to provide assistance to as many families as possible. See below for further details.

A $750 discount is given for each additional sibling. A discount for families that have students at BOTH Brother Rice and Mother McAuley is being offered for the 2017-2018 school year. The discount is $500.00 per family and will be split between the two schools in the amount of $250.00. This form is for Brother Rice students only.

An early payment discount, as well as monthly payment plan is available.

Financial Aid

Financial aid is available at Brother Rice High School on the basis of need.  Need is determined by multiple variables including the number of children/students in a family, other tuition the family is providing, and/or issues that may affect family circumstances.  All families, current and incoming, are encouraged to apply for financial aid.

Brother Rice High School is committed to making a high-quality Catholic education affordable to students by allocating funds for need-based financial assistance, as well as scholarships that recognize students achievements.

  • Currently, over 35% of Brother Rice families receive financial assistance.
  • The average award per family for the 2017-18 academic year is $2000.

Scholarships

Future Crusaders who score 95-99% nationally on the Brother Rice entrance exam will be named Blessed Edmund Rice Scholars and will receive a $3000 scholarship for each of their four years at Brother Rice.  To retain this scholarship, students must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.9.

The Waterford Scholarship is presented to the top 90th-94th percentile nationally for entrance exam scorers at Brother Rice. The award is a $1,500, nonrenewable scholarship.

Brother Rice is proud to offer the following donor-funded Scholarships through our generous alumni, friends and family. Scholarship applications are due March 15, 2017.
