The Endowment Fund is a pool of money that is held in an interest-bearing account. The mission of Brother Rice High School, founded in the beliefs of Blessed Edmund Rice, is to strive to provide a Christian Brother education to young men in the community. The interest generated from the Endowment Fund is used to lessen the financial burden of families who want their son to receive a Brother Rice education but are struggling to afford the tuition. The biggest risk that Catholic education faces today is the rising cost of education; the Endowment Fund makes it possible for many students who would otherwise have to forego a quality Catholic education to reap its benefits.
