Brother Rice High School is pleased to announce that all students taking the entrance exam this year will qualify for two new scholarships. To be eligible for these scholarships, students must take the entrance exam at Brother Rice. This program is an effort to reward academic leaders and maintain a competitive edge at Brother Rice.
Test takers who score 95-99% on the Brother Rice entrance exam will be named Blessed Edmund Rice Scholars and will receive a $3000 scholarship for each of their four years at Brother Rice. To retain this scholarship, students must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.9.
Test takers who score 90-94% will be named Waterford Scholars and will receive a $1,500 scholarship for their freshman year.
The Brother Rice entrance exam will be held on Saturday, January 11, at 8:00 A.M. Students do not need to register in advance, but they should bring a $25 test fee and two #2 pencils to take the test.
